Your Business Supports a
Coding Learnership
Connect Solutions recruits promising learners from the U-turn Homeless Ministries’ final work-readiness phase. Learners master advanced HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript. When ready, they assist with consulting to Connect Solutions clients under the supervision of our senior web developer and trainer.
Websites are first mocked up on Figma and then developed using WordPress. All our projects to date have received four to five stars.

What’s the Challenge?
The people accessing Uturn’s services have been homeless or are at a risk of homelessness. With rising unemployment rates, there is wasted potential in South Africa. Our coding learnership gives critical and scarce skills, providing access to the high paying jobs and employment equity.

Graduates
Denzil George
Denzil is a talented Junior Web Designer and Learnership Facilitator for coding programs.
He has a strong eye for design and is proficient in Figma, creating intuitive and visually appealing website mockups. Denzil also has solid front-end development skills, with expertise in HTML and CSS, and a good understanding of JavaScript.
He is experienced with WordPress development and quickly adapts to new tools and platforms. Denzil has consulted for multiple clients, consistently earning positive feedback for his creativity, technical skills, and professionalism.
Julian Kayser
Julian is a passionate Junior Web Designer and a graduate of the ConnectSolutions Learnership, focused on building his career in the tech industry.
He combines creativity with technical skill, using Figma to design clean, user-centered mockups and applying his expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop responsive, modern websites. Experienced in WordPress, Julian creates and customizes sites that align with client goals while continuing to expand his knowledge of Python and emerging web technologies.
Candice Davids
Candice is a graduate of the Connect Solutions Catalyst program and is currently a Web Design Intern at Connect Solutions. For her, this role goes far beyond coding and web development; it is a valuable opportunity to grow as a problem solver, an effective communicator, and a supportive mentor. She actively collaborates with her team on projects, contributes innovative ideas, and learns to adapt to real-world challenges in the tech industry.
She is passionate about creating intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly designs that meet client needs and enhance the user experience. Candice continuously hones her skills, preparing herself to thrive confidently and make a meaningful impact in the tech industry.
Dylon Jordaan
Since graduating, Dylon has expanded his skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB, applying them to build and maintain websites for real clients and organisations. His work includes developing responsive, user-friendly websites while continuing to grow his experience in both front-end and full-stack web development.
Cameron Slabbert
Cameron is a graduate and Catalyst Program participant at Connect Solutions. He is currently an intern at Connect Solutions, serving as a Social Media Administrator while remaining actively involved in web design projects. Passionate, energetic, and creative, he is eager to further develop his skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web design, and digital marketing.
Through his role in social media management, Cameron has gained valuable experience in content creation, audience engagement, and online brand communication, complementing his growing technical expertise. Coding has given him the perfect challenge to channel his energy and creativity, and he is enthusiastic about the opportunities that web development and digital media offer.

Marco Van der Colff
Hi, my name is Marco van der Colff. I am a Learner on the Catalyst Program at Connect Solutions. I started the Learnership on 8 September 2025. This marks an exciting new chapter in my life, and I see a chance to learn toward a successful future.
I am ambitious, detail-oriented, and driven to grow and upskill myself. This learnership allows me to challenge myself, stretch my mental capacity, and sharpen my technical skills while exploring new possibilities in the tech industry. I am excited to see where this journey will take me.
Fezile Mkosi
My name is Fezile Mkosi, and I am currently enrolled in the Connect Solution Catalyst Program. I am grateful for the opportunity to develop my coding fundamentals and am committed to making the most of this learning journey.
