Connect Solutions has been providing high-quality work at affordable rates for nonprofits for over a decade. Our standard consultancy rate for all development and IT support is R995 per hour. However, see below discounted rates for monthly support contracts and our packages for data-management and web development.
Ongoing Monthly Suppport
Clients can access discounted monthly rates for Data-management Salesforce Admin Support, Website Support and IT Support. Any consultancy time outside of the hours below, is charged at a standard consultancy rate of R995 per hour.

Launching Salesforce is an entry level starter pack to enable your nonprofit to start building a legacy of data.
The development is done within one to two months. However, the cost of development is split into 12 monthly instalments. After the instalments are paid off, your nonprofit continues with its 10 free Salesforce licences, and there are no further costs. You can ask for monthly
The Launching Salesforce instance includes either or both of the following apps: NPSP for donor management and PMM for programme management / M&E
The cost for only one of the apps is R3760 a month for 12 months, or for both apps we offer a slight discount at R7000 a month for 12 months.
Fundraising and Donor
NPSP App- Fresh install of Salesforce and assistance to set it up
- Quick assessment of fundraising needs and 1 hour consult if needed
- Installation of NPSP app
- Create page layouts for all Contact and Account record types (if needed create two custom record types for Contacts – clients/beneficiaries and supporters/donors) + + Create up to 5 custom contact fields and 5 custom account fields
- Configure Duplicate Management rules
- Clean & Upload contact (supporter) records. Max 5000 contacts and 1000 account records from one single source
- Create Staff user profiles to restrict access to data in Salesforce.
- Configure NPSP Opportunity functionality (cleaning up layouts: eg removing unnecessary fields or object types, potentially shortcut buttons, etc) for Donations, Gift in Kind, Formal fundraising / grants
- Create custom fields for S18A certificates (including ID/Passport Number, Identification document type, confirmation if S18A is needed, Country of Issue, SARS income tax nr, Registration Nr)
- Configure SPF and DKIM policies
- One 2 hour user training session and documentation on how to: create new contacts and accounts, create email templates, send mass mail from SF
- Project management (meetings, follow up)
Programme and M&E
PMM App- Fresh install of Salesforce and assistance to set it up
- 1 hour consult if needed
- Installation of PMM app
- Create Programs and Services records and add up to 3 custom fields on Program Engagement (e.g. Service Provider organisation; grade when learner received service)
- Editing Programme Engagement naming convention
- Upload current list of clients currently as contacts and bulk create Program Engagements (max 5000 contacts from one single source)
- Create Staff user profiles to restrict access to data in Salesforce.
- Customise 4 PMM reports and create a dashboard to show number of services delivered and program engagements (active clients enrolled in a program)
- User training and documentation:
- One 2 hour user training session and documentation on how to: create new contacts and accounts, manage program engagements for clients, create Bulk Service Deliveries
- Project management (meetings, follow up)

Website Development: Custom Wordpress Design and Development
Our custom nonprofit websites are not just shop fronts. All our websites integrate into donor and communication management system, with integrations between Payment gateways and data-management systems (like Salesforce and Mailchimp). Our sites are also carefully optimised for Search Engines.
Custom Wordpress Website
Including Design and Development- 1 hour Discovery meeting: scoping and finalising design brief
- Mockup in Figma with two client revisions
- Installation of Wordpress along with installation of plugins for Divi, Perfmatters and caching for high performance
- Integration with PayFast Payment Gateway and mapping lead generation form fields to Mailchimp or Salesfoce (if using Gravity Forms or Form Assembly*)
- Search Engine Optimising including identifying three key terms with strategic placement of terms
- Responsive design and development for mobile phones ensuring seamless user experience
- Performance improved through WebP image formatting, caching, lazy loading, defered and delayed scripts, etc (set up of Content Distribution Networks or CDN comes with a additional cost)
- Project management including up to 2 hours of meeting time.
- 1.5 hour handover training including how to create pages, how to create new users, and how to create forms
* Please note that there is a annual subscription fee for Gravity Forms or Form Assembly lead generation forms. For 2025, the costs are R650 for Gravity Forms and R14 500 for Form Assembly (including any development time to create the forms in Form Assembly. See Ad Hoc development rates)
Bespoke Custom Development Project
Connect Solutions has extensive experience of complex, integrated development projects. We have a carefully defined development process that includes a standard 25 hour Assesment for discovery and scoping. The outcome of this Assessment Phase is a clearly defined and mapped out workflow, along with a development plan and costing estimated for the full project.
We charge for the Assessment Phase separately from the Development Phase. The standard rate for Assessment is R24 875.
