Nonprofit Website Award

Applications close at midnight on January 31, 2025

Every year our advanced Coding Learners build one, remarkable website for one remarkable nonprofit.

The Award is valued at R18 000 and includes: a four page website with a Homepage, About page, Programme page and Donation page. The Award includes mockup design with two revisions, and the development of a custom Wordpress site that is integrated with the PayFast payment gateway, as well as Mailchimp and a simple donor management system. The website is Search Engine Optimised and mobile responsive.

Although our learners have advanced coding skills, the award provides them with an opportunity to learn the nuances of consultancy work and to build their portfolio for future roles. They are supervised by an experienced web developer and Nonprofit fundraising expert.

* Please note: the awarded nonprofit must commit to a monthly maintenance plan of R945 every month for a minimum of 12 months – this ensures the site remains live and a good addition to Coding learner’s portfolios.

See the Terms and Conditions  and Award Timeline below to ensure you aware of your commitment to the process.
